Okay, I'm looking to put a system into my car. I had a system in my previous car and I took it out and I still have the Amp and the subs. I was wondering if I should be looking for anything specific in a deck. I'm not really familiar with sound systems and all so I need some help. The amp I have is an Audiovox AMP582 160Watts 2 channel. The subs I have are Avalaon 10" subs 200 watts each. I'm just looking for a simple deck, that will cost about 200-300 dollars and that is Ipod ready.
Also a question about what i should line the trunk of my mustang with to reduce the rattling.

Alpine all the way!
Look for a good built in small amp along with some good inputs.
Like MP3 inputs, maybe bluetooth, but thats more expensive.
The basics you need to be able to play burnt CD's and MP3 files along with MP3 inputs. Get any Alpine deck and your set to go.
Also EQ, like bass adjustment and treble.
GOTO EBAY....you can find alot of nice decks for cheap....If you stay in the $100-$200 range then pioneer make very nice decks for that price range....If your going for $200-$300 range then I agree ALPINE,Eclipse,or Clarion. You might get rid of the audiovox amp and get a different brand for better sound. If your willing to spend $300,then get a pioneer deck at about $140 range and the the rest on a better quality amp.Audiovox is really the bottom of the barrel when it comes to car audio.Just my opinion though.Good luck and you can always ask any Tech at a stereo shop for advice as well.
i would say an Alpine head deck!! best you can buy... well pretty much.. and search ebay for the sound deadning stuff... cheaper then if you buy it at best buy or circuit city...
i have the alpine 9885 head deck... its like 250 but its a great deck!
