Connect to Xbox live via cisco connect?
So I just moved into my new apartment complex
To access the Internet..our laptops are required to connect to the "unsecured" wireless connection and then then when opening a browser, we type in a password before we can proceed using the Internet
I've still have 6 months left on my xbox live membership And I am not sure if anyone else has had this issue and how it has been resolved..?
I already tried connecting the console via my laptop - it still gives an error whether we try autonomic ip or manual ip
Please help!
I've contacted the troubleshooting guys n that's what they recommended (connect via laptops connection)

So you cant connect to xbox live. ?
okay make sure you are connected to the internet. This is for windows 7 and other windows.
1)Open your start bar
2) Type in= Network and Sharing Center
3)You should see above a section saying= View your active networks
-look below that
4)Then it should be layed out like this.= Acces type: Internet
HomeGroup: (if your joind or not.)
Connections: wireless Network Connection (name of connection your connected to)
-Click on connections: Wireless Network Connection ( and the name of your connection)
5)It should open up a bar.
6) at the bottom it will say properties, click there.
-it will then open another page.
7) at the top there will be a tab that says: Sharing
-click there
8)There should be an unticked box that says= Allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection.
-Tick that box
-push okay.
Now you should be able to connect to xbox live.

you do no longer could desire to port forward except you're employing your xbox as a server.. which you're no longer and you will't do. it is your isp's fault.. XD call them and ask them for help.
