Delta-search is actually showing search results from Yahoo! search - which doesn't make it less annoying or something like that. And actually the first shown results are from sponsored links and the rest are the actual Yahoo! Search results. Its better to delete it.
When you say you have uninstalled it, what do you mean? Have you tried removing any files from the Control Panel > Uninstall a program? And also removing delta search related extensions and browser add-ons.
Know that you must download an antivirus and/or antimalware program. It would scan and clean any infection it finds. And remember to always keep it up to date.

go to task manager and you can enable it ; next you can go back into uninstall and it will then take it out
