I need to bring a dessert dish to pass to my office Halloween party. I was just recently diagnosed as diabetic and can't have sweets. Is there anything for diabetics I can take to the potluck that I can actually eat? Please, no recipes with artificial sweeteners (I can't have those either). Maybe something that combines fruit and protein?? I don't know...
Thanks!!

Make little individual tarts and fill with yogurt and top with berries.Or you can do strawberries drizzled with basalmic vinegar and fresh ribbons of mint leaves.
I too am diabetic and I've had gastic bypass which doesnt allow for alot of sweets or carbs. I cannot take most of the artificial sweeteners but this is a MUST TRY. This is a great recipe and tastes SINFUL!!
Banana Cream Supreme!
1 large container of vanilla yogurt
*1/3 cup of NO FAT milk
*1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
5 small boxes of SUGAR FREE white chocolate pudding
1 tub lowfat Whipped topping
5 bananas
Graham crackers
Mix together the milk and protein, blend in the yogurt then add pudding one box at a time. should resemble pudding at this point, if not add milk to proper consistency. fold in the whipped topping.
set aside
Lay out your graham crackers on the bottom and sides of a 9x13 pan for a tastey crust.
slice bananas onto crust add 1/3 of mixture slice more bananas on top add 1/3 mixture slice bananas add last of mixture.
Dust top with Graham cracker crumbs.
* the milk and protein isnt necessary and can be removed. just reduce pudding to 4 boxes and bananas to 4.
** adding a couple drops of maple extract to the pudding mixture gives this a very smooth taste.

2 all beef frankfurters (or chicken or turkey frankfurters), cut into 1/2 inch pieces

1 green pepper, chopped fine
1/2 c. celery, chopped fine
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 c. biscuit mix prepared as pkg. directs
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients except biscuits. Boil gently 5 minutes. Put 6 slices into each of 8 individual baking dishes; add about 3/4 cup mixture; top each with biscuit. Bake until biscuits are dark golden brown, about 20 minutes. Serve at once; serves 8. This recipe could probably be used in a large casserole dish instead of the individual dishes.

Can you have yogurt?
How about a fruit salad? Apples (squeeze some lemon juice over so it doesn't turn brown), cantaloupe, grapes, strawberries, any other fruit - mix with strawberry or vanilla yogurt. Add nuts (preferably toasted) if you like
