She's bone skinny because she is not feeding. 8 weeks is tooo old to be feeding from the mother. Get this kitten some solid soft food, or soften the hard food. Warm some milk and put it in a saucer. This cat needs REAL food! Cancer is NOT contagious. And no this kitten doesn't have cancer and no it cannot give it to you. The only diseases that a cat can give a human is from the fleas carrying disease. Feed this cat!
First of all l think you realize by now that at 8 weeks it would be truly unusual FOR the Mother cat to have an y milk left so your kitten is starving.
Most kittens are weaned (taken away from Mother's milk around 5 weeks of age or even up to 6 weeks depending the largeness of the litter.
Both Mum and kittens must be fed the correct kitten diet of good nutritional food like good dry and a top wet food plus fish and mince beef fresh.
Your kitten has not had sufficient food to put wright on and Mum must be starving too.
Symptoms of cancer. At this age it is highly unlikely the kitten has cancer as it is a rare thing To come across very young animals with this so put your mind to rest
l am not going o go into detail of the different stages of cancer as your kitten does NOT have it it has been deprived of good food and nothing else so thee is no point looking for medical answers which do not exist.
The kitten may have internal parasites like worms which if the Mother was not wormed before and whilst feeding the kitten most likely has and this is not to hard to get rid of.
Lastly cats and kittens do NOT spread diseases to humans their cat flu is vastly different to ours and we cannot be infected and vice versa..You can get worms from cats if they have them and especially ringworm.
In essence l can advise you take Mother cat and kitten for a vet check up and get the appropriate shots and worming formula and forget the over the counter rubbish
In conclusion first of all the kitten needs a good feed and lastly cancer is a non hereditary disease both in animals and humans
Cancer is not a transmittable disease.
The cells in the body are constantly being reproduced; cancer can be caused when these cells don’t stop the reproduction. This causes cancerous cells that eventually spread around the body, unless treated by radiation. However, radiation can be the cause of the cells strange reproduction; this is why the Doctors and Nurses who work with x-rays go into another room.
Cancer comes up as lumps, so gently massage areas of the body to feel for the lumps.
1. Kittens so young do not have cancer.
2. Cancer does not spread from kittens to humans.
3. Cat diseases do not spread to humans either, except some parasites, such as ringworm, but that's not what your kitten has.
4. Take the kitten to the vet. At 8 weeks, he should be eating food, not from his mum. Give him some boiled chicken cut in small pieces. Or just cat food!
No, you can't catch cancer from your cat.
You need to take your cat to the vet for a full exam.
Why would you think she has cancer? It could be something that is treatable and you should have a vet examine the kitten.

Provide the address to the page the next time you copy material form a site - even if it is just a small amount of material.
No cancers are able to be spread person to persom much less animal to person. Don't stress over that one.
Your kitten needs a vet check--to see if worms are involved, or some other thing like FeLV is causing the problem.
A cat can only spread rabies to humans, which is a virus, but they have to have it before they can spread it. Otherwise you're only looking at skin or intestinal parasites (ringworm, roundworm, etc.) and surface parasites like ticks and fleas.
The virus may also be transmitted by nursing mothers to their kittens, and via bite wounds when cats fight. Young kittens are even more likely to develop the disease than adult cats. Cats cannot transmit the virus to people. Despite its name, feline leukemia or FeLV is a viral infection rather than a cancer. Outdoor cats and those living in multicat households are more likely to be infected with the feline leukemia virus, which is passed from one cat to another through mutual grooming, sharing litter boxes and food dishes, and nose-to-nose contact.
You said before you haven't got the money to take her to vet have you got the money to feed her . A kitten of 8 weeks should have 6 small meals a day.
TAKE THE KITTEN AND MOM TO A VET!!!
Cancer is NOT contagious!
TAKE CARE OF YOUR ANIMALS!! They are in your protection and care so...........LIVE UP TO IT!
no, it's not cancer but you do need to get this kitten to the vet. if she isn't getting proper nutrition she will die.
