Do Mormon temples have to pay taxes since they are not open to the general public like a normal church? I've been to one of the churches before but you can't go into any of the temples unless you're baptized.

I belong to a non-denominational Christian church. Our church isn't exactly "Open To The Public". If People came into our church wearing t-shirts that propagated atheism, pre-marital sex, drug use, etc. our ushers would respectfully ask them to go home and change their choice of attire. If they refused, they would be forcibly removed. We would still be tax exempt.
Yes. They have tax exempt status like most churches.
No they are not taxed. But I have been told to lock your belonging in a locker while you are in there. Apparently all Mormons are not honest.
