Anyway, in some stories fairies are mean and do bite.

Not saying I believe or I don't. But just like every other story that Disney has turned into something "cutesy", Not all Fairies are Tinkerbell, and in many older stories they are mean, and mischievous creatures.

Fairies are not really violent or mean, but at the same time they are not really nice. They are the emotional and spiritual manifestations of the natural world they are wild by nature and live the energies that are around them. Thus a single Fae may be loving and gentle in one place and wrathful and violent in another due to the ambient energies of the place. they are rather unpredictable yet intriguing spirits. And yes talking about them or thinking about them can draw them near.

Fairies are where people talk about them. Same with a lot of other things. If you want them there, then talk about them. If not, don't.

Yes they do bite because 1 bit me once! no joke i didn`t feel it at all though.. yeh i read it in a book once called *faries.. the open hearted* you should, it will give you all the answers, as it did for me,,

They do more than bite, they suck. They suck the breath out of young children. You are young enough to feel the bite, but not have the life sucked away or be dragged into their world.

I think your friend bit you when you weren't paying attention, perhaps when you were asleep, and blamed it on a fairy. But if it was a fairy, you have nothing to fear, they are harmless.

heey, i think they do...it depends what type of fairy it is. but yes i suppose everyone can get violent. and also, tinkerbell isn't a fairy...she's a pixie...sorry, just correcting that bit of information =)
