Prayer solves problems, one of my problems was that I did not get enough score to get into a medical college on the first try. Getting into the medical school was my only dream in life. I prayed and prayed with faith and I re-appeared, I got in.
For me it was miraculous, I have faith that it was prayer to the Almighty God that helped me.
Prayer to God can help ease problems, it might not take them away but it can definitely help.
For example, I had a problem a few weeks ago and I prayed like mad. The problem passed over within the next few days. It was hard at first but it got easier. And I KNOW that Jehovah God helped me then.
I don't believe prayer by itself well do anything. I think it takes a God that is being prayed to to solve problems will solve problems. But if you're down on your knees praying to a false god then of course nothing will happen except for placing a placebo on yourself into thinking something will happen even though it never does. But if you pray to the true God then if God wills it he will not only solve problems but provide miracles.
Sure....years ago a person died from an overdose in a park. The authorities called for the coroner. I prayed to God in His Son's name, layed hands on this guy and commanded his life to return to him in Jesus name. He woke up!!!
....and the police, firemen and paramedics ran for the hills..
Prayer provides, protect and builds relationship with God, the Father and His Son Lord Jesus Christ. What most people have problems with prayer is simply this...it isn't microwave popcorn time..one
Solves problems? Absolutely not! Prayer is just the means for mankind and God to communicate, unite, commune and seek solice, comfort, peace, understanding, etc. God wants us to solve our own problems but HE promises to give us His spirit to aid in the process as we seek it through prayer..... Prayer is a conduit for drawing down the powers of heaven in our behalf.... it's never been a promised FIXER of anything! <IMO>
Praying to God may not solve your problems, but one, it can give you peace of mind which can help you think more clearly, and second, if you ask God for his holy spirit he can help you figure the way out of things.
Philippians 4:6,7 "Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that excels all thought will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus."

Prayer works. Keep a prayer journal and you'll see your evidence.
No. A single pair of Hands at Work do more than a billion hands clasped in prayer.
Prayer is where morons feel good about themselves for doing absolutely nothing.
I think it's kinda like a sugar pill. You take it, you think it'll work, you feel better, and move on.
Although when I was in 5th grade, I prayed to God to make me sick so I wouldn't have to go to school. I got pneumonia. :| But I'm agnostic, now.
