does community service help raise GPA?
would doing a community service help raise my GPA? if yes then how much? if no then what else can i do to raise my GPA i have a 3.0 at this point and pretty much paying attention in school as well... suggestions are appreciated

No. It has nothing to do with your GPA because that it solely based on your grades. It can help you get into college because they like well rounded people.
To raise your grades, try harder. Get tutors if you need it. Do your homework and all extra credit offered. Spend more time studying and don't just pretty much pay attention, actually pay attention.
