the best way to find a friend for your piggy is to take him to a rescue/shelter and let him choose his own friend.
how old is your piggy?
all piggies need to be introduced in neutral territory not just put in a cage together.
mounting, chasing and humping is all normal.
teeth chattering isnt so good but may be worked through.
blood drawn is bad and a sign they wont live together.
remember that these things look a lot worse for us but need to be done. do not keep seperating and re-introducing. introduce them and leave them (unless blood is drawn) clean out the cage and clean everything so it doesnt smell of your existing pig and then if its going well move them into the cage. keep an eye on them for a few weeks just in case.
neutering boys does NOT change their behaviour at all it just stops them being able to re-produce.
You need to do some research on introductions. That was completely normal and healthy for both of them. It doesn't matter if they are both male or female they will still fight a bit, it's a myth that males don't get along. The only time you are suppose to separate them is if there is blood. Also when you have 2 you need 2 water bottles, 2 food dishes, 2 hideys etc. just so one doesn't get bullied. Get another guinea pig of the same sex and make it the new friend. guinealynx.info has great info on introductions and how to do them.
are they both male?
if they are male are they spayed?
two males may fight (if they are spayed then it is less likely)
two females are unlikely to fight.
if one of the guinea pigs has a strong personality then they might not get on with another piggie.
the extra guinea pig might just have not gotten on with your piggie, try another guinea pig.
if it the new one doesn't get on with your piggie then just take it back to the pet shop (or wherever you got it from)
