There is absolutely nothing special about Tara Tea, it's just tea. Good tea can help you maintain a healthy weight, but there is no reason to assume that Tara Tea has some special corner on that. They do source some of their oolongs from Suriwan in Chiang Rai, that is a good farm, but not my favorite in that region. I source from Jing Jing and Sweet Maesalong, also organic and I think more delicious. My stuff is also less expensive. I drink it all day everyday and I still look like a Greek statue even though I haven't seen a gym in over a year.
