Dominican republic airport??
My boyfriend and myself are planning a vacation to Dominican republic. We want to take jet blue to punta cana. The problem is that they go to Santiago. America airlines and delta are booked for thanks giving weekend. So i was wondering if I should take the flight to Santiago and take a cab to the resort in punta cana. Is Santiago really far away from punta cana?

Well there are several possible options:
1. If your arrival at Santiago airport is at night you have to wait until morning to have a bus from Santiago (city) to Santo Domingo and there one to Higuey. From higuey one to Punta Cana and there a taxi to the hotel. Oh yes, and one taxi from airport to Santiago city.
2. By arrival on Santiago airport a private transfer is waiting for you to drive you directly to your hotel in Punta Cana.
The first option take's about a full day. Second option take's you about
