I think that you should NOT make this trade.
Reason 1: even though Chris Davis is doing amazing so far, he will be getting a LOT of K's. Fielder is going to be a definite top 5 1B, and potentially top 5 overall as well. So if Davis isn't cutting it at 1B for you, who else are you going to put there? 1B is usually very shallow in the waivers...
Reason 2: Trout is an exciting player whom you can win many games with, but I don't think he is worth the hype to trade Fielder AND Upton for. Upton will have a solid season. Plus I think your OF is stacked. Upton, Gordon, Jones, Markakis, Davis. Those guys are more than solid and will be fairly consistent. Gordon, Jones, and Markakis are double machines!!
Reason 3: Your pitching is good enough. You may like the idea of up-ing your pitching stats with Strasburg but you still have solid starters there. watch the wavier wire for someone to pick up if you don't like some of them on your bench. Always easier to pick up a pitcher to do great than a hitter.
FINAL WORD: Hold off on this trade. Maybe if he ups the offer in some way, you should think about it, but I don't see the trade being worth it.

You could add another SP by dumping Profar,and then his Ks & Ws combined with Morrows would probably be better than Strassburgs'..So why give up 2 premium power bats for Strass?
And you don't need another leadoff hitter like TroutYou could just start Escobar for more steals,average,& runs.I don't think Trout will give you much more then that;Sure he'll get you more homers & rbis than Reyes & Escobar combined,but when you subtract Fielder & Upton you come out way behind in homers & rbis.
You need to think of a better trade,or flat out reject it;And drop Profar for another SP!

You get better deal trout will get out of his slump and hit .285 and 25 homeruns and Strasburg will win 22 games and fielder is on a really good tigers team so his numbers may fo up and down and morrow and j Upton will do better with his brother but not trout level
Honestly i would do the trade because Stephen Strasburg is one of the best pitchers in my view he lead the NL in strikeouts up until the shut him down. Trout he is stud all together he almost won MVP last year and he was a rookie and he is barely 21.
