i was thinking of proposing an old trade i rejected before..but my pitching rotation is a bit weak, would you give up jose reyes and his injury history for jj hardy and ryan vogelsong(coming off the dl)

Vogelsong? Really? Last season was something of an anomaly for a pitcher who hadn't appeared in the big leagues in five years and I'd be shocked if he catches lightning in a bottle again. And Hardy hasn't been immune to the injury bug, either, averaging just 115 games over the last three seasons.
You should be able to get a solid starting pitcher and a decent shortstop in exchange for Reyes. Don't settle for a couple scrubs in a deal that will almost undoubtely be vetoed (unless you're offering it to the league commissioner).
um.... NO. There are definitely good free agent options to pick up without having to drop someone like Reyes.
