Unfortunately I can't start both of these guys this week, because Adrian Peterson is also on my team, and I expect him to do very well against the Colts this week. So, with one starting RB spot left on my roster, should it go to Clinton Portis or Brandon Jacobs? Jacobs is a solid RB going against a Rams defense that couldn't stop a 3 year old girl, while Portis, who I believe to be a better overall RB than Jacobs, is running against the Saints. Both seem to be very good options. The downsides to each would be that the Giants have managed to develop a passing offense, and they may move the ball through the air a lot against St. Louis, which would limit Jacobs' carries. Meanwhile, I'm not exactly sure how well the Redskins offense can move the ball, meaning Portis' touchdown opportunities may be limited. He also has Betts running alongside him, who could take some of the TD carries away.
I can't seem to make a decision between these two guys. Anyone got any advice?

I would go with Jacobs for a couple of reasons. The Giants wont need to go to the air alot, especially after half time when they have a big lead. It isnt Coughlins nature to blow teams out so they will keep the clock running while battering a demoralized Rams defense. The opposite may be true for the Redskins. They may have to put the ball in the air more than they prefer to keep up with the high scoring Saints. If they get an early lead then they can grind out the game but if they fall behind Portis wont get as many carries. Jacobs is a lock for 25 carries (which could mean 125 or so yards and a TD or 2). It is a great problem to have with 3 very good backs but the matchup favors Jacobs having more potential to score fantasy points this week.
Jacobs you ought to have persistence nevertheless, after the 1st 8 video games you're 2nd guessing this yet after an entire sixteen video games you will see why I chosen Jacobs. injuries alongside with overlooked video games has been a difficulty with the two a style of gamers. the two gamers are purpose line beasts. Portis is notoriously a sturdy starter, yet he many times runs out of gas. Jacobs ought to work out an greater workload with Ward now in TB. Bradshaw will spell him at circumstances yet Jacobs must be a lock for 1200-1400yds and 10-12 TDs. the significant element to look at right it particularly is consistancy. Portis might also have a greater advantageous season statistically, yet week in and week out i think of Jacobs would be greater consistant. good success!!!
I'd go with Jacobs. The Giants pass atack wont work without using the RB. Portis will struggle if the WR's of Washintgton are,t contributing.
