That really doesn't give me much info about him. It doesn't mean he is attractive or not (looks wise). I don't know if he's the sweet sensitive guy who modestly write poetry in his spare time, and it was good enough to get published (that's pretty attractive). Or one of those mopey artsy guys who is always hanging around libraries and typing things on his laptop in starbucks, and always looks like he has a stick up his @ss. I know both. It also depends on the poetry. Somethign light and sweet, maybe romantic or pretty, meaningful? yeah, that's pretty attractive. Dark and depressing and confusing, with secret meanings that no one really understands? No. Also, if he's constantly talking about how his poetry was published, that's a total turn off.
This could either be a really good thing or a really bad thing, depending on the guy.
I'd think of you more as a person who has a lot of stuff just rolling around in their head, and uses paper as an excuse to write it all down. So yeah, maybe. Not all writers are hot tamales though. But I'd assume you'd be smart as hell because most people living on planet earth suck at writing poetry.
yeah sure I would need to know him first but hes probably better than the other fifteen year old guys who are like " thats what she said!" and "yo mama!"

That doesn't say anything about what might attract me.
It wouldn't really make me think of him as attractive or not, I'd have to get to know him first.
Although I would think it's pretty awesome.
