This might sounds really stupid,but Im trying to figure out what I have to get on my Math final in order to still maintain a B. First quarter I got an 84.1 and this quarter I got a 78.3; This final is worth 20% of my grade. It's out of 150 q's, though spilt into two parts. I've already taken the first part and got 25/50.. I know I failed ( I cannot do proofs for the life of me.. ) so I figured I would have to get an A or at the least 120/150..? Does anyone know by how many points this final could influence my grade? Or is there more that needs to be known in order to determine that.. oh the 2nd part of the final is worth 67% of the entire final, if that means anything at all. Please help!
Update:I'm assuming each quarter is worth 40% of our over all grade for that semester, though it didn't specify. But since I know the Final is 20%, We'll assume it is. If you show me how to set up the problem to solve, that would be amazing, you dont have to do all the work(:

Okay, so the following is mostly for my benefit, answer is at the bottom:
84.1%*.40 + 78.3%*.40 + 25/50*.2*50/150 + x*.2*100/150 = B = .8
Okay.
You need to get 88 points on the next part to get above an 80% in the class. Honestly, it'll be tough but you have certainly shown the capacity to do high B work before. More on the good news front is that it would be next to impossible for you to get a D.

This info may be in your paragraph, but I'm not positive. What % or number of points are the quarters worth vs. the final? I need info like
First quarter is worth 75/250 & I got 84.1%
Second quarter is worth 75/250 & I got 78.3%
First half of final is worth 50/250 & I got 50% (or 25/50)
Second half of final is worth 50/250

if you got 120/150 on the last part you would have a 79.46. If you got 100/150 you would have a get a 77.46. If you got a 150/150 you would get a 82.46. Hopefully those numbers help.
