What do you think about it? My 3 week old son has a lot of gas after feeding.. I have to burp him about 30 minuter every feeding and sometimes when he sleeps, he seem to be uncomfortable and I have to put him in my shoulders to make him burp. Is that normal for a formula-fed baby? He drinks Enfamil Lipil with Iron . Should I switch to Enfamil Gentlease? I need your experiences.
Thanks.
Oh, and sometimes he spit up a little bit. Is that normal? Don't tell me to ask my pedetrician because we have some problems with her and we're looking for a good one next week

My friend uses Gentlease for her three month old and she seems to like it. As far as the spit up that is normal for any baby because the flap that covers their stomach is alot flappier than the normal adults because it isn't fully developed.. at least that is what his pediatrician said. As long as he isn't projectile vomiting he is fine.
I love it! My baby inherited my husbands "incurable" intestinal issues, and she had awful gas problems and gentlease has cleared it right up. The spitting up deal I'd go to a doctor about. People say put a little cereal in a bottle (which is NOT a choking hazard...how can you choke on something that is thin enough to go through a nipple?) but I'd ask a doc. if they want you to try that or go on Enfamil AR.
Yep, I used it on my son. He spit up really badly for about his first 6 months. Gentlease seemed to help a little bit, but he was still a big puker. Talk to your baby's doctor.
