Let's say that what you have 88 on so far plus this extra item is everything.

If the last item counts for half the grade because it's the final exam or something,

then you have 88 / 2 + 100 / 2 = 44 + 50 = 94

If the last item only counts for 5% of the grade,

It is safe to say, that IF you got 100 on that item

(or anything above 88), then your grade will be above 88,

I would wait to see the grade on that last item before I
