Do you accept where you are in life? Do you accept yourself for being who you are? Look in the mirror and tell yourself that you will live how you look, because that is the way you look. You can improve your physical appearance, and give yourself a self-worth boost. You are important to the people who depend on you, as the people you depend on are vitally important to you. 2. Regard or self-love.
How much do you like yourself? Do you spend time enjoying who you are? Create more routine activities that you desire to do.Regard yourself as one of the most important people in the world. Even though this may not be true, to your life, to your survival it is.
3. Respect
Are you always worried about what other people think about you?
Why are those thoughts so important? They can not change you, you can only change yourself. You are who you are, and you accept who you are. If you don't than you have failed at believing in yourself. Is there a something in your life, that you do, that you are ashamed of? Stop doing it, or stray away from the person, or thing, that gives you your shame. Don't disrespect yourself, and don't hang around people who disrespect you for who you are.

make a mental list of all the things you are good at!
Give yourself a make over with clothes & looks/style, doesn't have to cost much, be inventive.
Take up a passtime you really enjoy & get good at it.
You know you are as good as anybody else- they all have their faults, so you are at least as good as them & most likely much better!
Believe in yourself and it will shine through, you don't have to be good looking, young or very clever to be a good friend and companion.
Count your blessings, maybe help some people with less going for them than you as a volunteer?
