Hi. I'm 15, I know NOTHING about politics, Obama, government. Whatever. I was born in raised in Oklahoma, so I'm trying to be different, rather than the others here. I'm claiming to be a liberal, I've read a few things about them, and know the basics. Ok well not even the basics. But the big christmas dinner is at noon (it's 1:45 am) and If anything is brought up I wanna start in. I told my grandma I liked
Obama and she asked WHY? And I didn't even know,
So thats an answer I need. Anyways, please help me.

How about instead of TRYING to be different, you try to be yourself. Believe what you believe rather than what someone tells you to believe. I personally register unaffiliated because I feel that both sides have their good and their bad. I vote on the candidate that best serves what I believe rather than which candidate falls into a little box made by a political party.
"The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so." Ronald Reagan
The Liberal ideology is a theory which holds forth beliefs that have no basis in reality.
They are Advocates of a policy that empowers a strong government to enslave its people with a high tax burden incident to the support of extravagant and unnecessary social programs destructive to both the work ethic among the lower class, and the incentive to innovate and succeed among the working class.
The problems we face today are because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.
A democracy will continue to exist up until
the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous
gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority
always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from
the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally
collapse over loose fiscal policy
A broken government can't be fixed by the same government that broke it.

That is a question many people are asking themselves. The only people who are coming up with answers are those people who believe the role of government should be to take from those who have and give it to those who are politically connected.
For instance, when GM was in trouble, Obama used the force of the federal government to take the assets of those who had lent money to GM and give it to the labor bosses in the auto unions. Then went across the country and shut down all the GM dealerships that were owned by republicans and provide subsidies to those that were owned by democrats (rather than analyzing which dealerships stood a better chance of surviving in the local economies to decide which ones to close down and which to keep open).
He did prove that all the president has to do, to make social engineering work, is to make everyone pay for it. No insurance? Fine, now everyone pays for it. Just imagine what that can do for the economy. GM sells down? Everyone has to buy a Chevy. Want to finance a war? Everyone has to buy a gun. Works every time.
You can talk of how he wanted to change America how he was traumatized 35 years back hearing a car door lock and just knowing it was because his imposing self was in the area You can talk he being the only president to write two bios about his thoughts and wishes may talk of the book about his father Dreams of my Father the man who abandoned him and ne only saw once
That's apparent, he is not a good President and has not been able to make good choices for the people.
It sounds like, the answer is:- because I want to be different.
Fine, you go for it.
I'd recommend you go republican conservative
