Is there a certain time of the week that you can buy cheaper tickets or why do the prices change from day to day? Do the prices always get more expensive as the day gets closer? I'm getting ready to buy tickets for my honeymoon

Airlines will say that their pricing structures are top secret, but here's what we know to be true most of the time:
Airline pricing is based on supply and demand. The higher the demand for seats on an airplane between two cities for a particular day, the higher the price will be.
Many people have found that the following are ways to lower the price:
* Travel on a Tuesday or Wednesday. These are historically the least busiest days of the travel week, so its likely that more seats will be available, driving the cost down.
* Be flexible with your scheduling. Most airline web sites now have the option of showing you fares for the day before and the day after the date of travel you have selected.
* Purchase your tickets in advance. Generally, the further in advance you purchase tickets, the less they will cost.
* Purchase a travel package from the airlines' vacation desk. If you buy your hotel and/or rental car as well, they'll usually give you the lowest fare class available.
I use kayak.com to check fares for all airlines except Southwest (which doesn't allow Kayak or any other site to publish their fares -- for fares on Southwest, I go to Sothwest.com). Kayak then takes me to the site where I can find the best deal on the ticket I have chosen.
There are special packages for group / families you have to check some travel agent or you can also find on line but on line tickets may be expensive. You have to check different airlines in your region and operating near by you they have always special fares for some destinations for example <www.southwest.com> you will find different option for cheap tickets and pay less for travel.
