How do I become a ASL teacher?
I am 21 years old and have been studying to be a ultrasound tech since I graduated high school. But my dream was to actually be a ASL teacher. I regret the time i wasted but now I'm thinking about going forward with ASL, How do I get started? Can I get started at a community college or do i have to go to a university? any info helps. thank you
Update:I live in Southern California.. what are some schools that I can take ASL as a major?

With all due respect, it is better for a qualified Deaf person to teach ASL, vs someone who just learned it.
