Usually your mother board will have it printed next to the PCIe slot. If you have a "factory" machine, you need to look it up. The 2.0, 2.1 have the same bandwidth (5GT/s) while the 1.1 has 2.5GT/s ..it will have little effect on the performance for a single card.
