First of all, the real name of a parakeet is Budgie, and is you have two Budgies that mated and you want to have more Budgies, I would just dispose of the egg and buy a nesting box, nesting materials and some books on Budgie breeding. But if it is just a single Budgie, you can let her sit on the egg for a few days then dispose of it or dispose of it right away. I'm not expert though so consult his website, they give fast, friendly, professional advice.

- cotton balls
- yarn
- feathers
- hay
- etc.
