how do I start a game I don't know how to move the pieces help me please I know how to play show me how to move the pieces. thank You. [email protected] e-mail address
play pogo chess it highlights where you can move each piece that's how i learned. at pogo.com i learned that the knight [horsey] moves like an L or 7 and the pawns [ the little guy] move like infantry a few spaces forward at first but later they get tired and move one space and the bishop [the cross] moves diagonal and the rookies [the castle towers] are like archers in towers shooting arrows all the way across or up and down and the queen [ the big crown] moves anywhere and anyway like all of the above and finally the king [small crown] moves anywhere and way but one at a time.
I am assuming you are playing by Tournament rules, specifically "touch move". If this is the case, as long as you do not let go, or touch an enemy's piece, you can move your piece to a different, but still legal, space. If you touch ANY piece of yours, and it is legal to move it when playing "touch move" (with the sole exception for adjusting a piece that is off-center in a space, so a player will not be confused about where the piece is on the board), and if you touch an opponent's piece, you must capture it, if legal. Normally, players will only use this rule for Tournament play, or for practice. It is not normally done in casual games.
if you know how to play then you know how each piece moves?? correct?? are you looking for something like a defense (cecillian defense) or an assaulting (fierce strike) offenseive strat??
