Just do it... no allow outside stimulus to control your inner harmony... It just picture, no one like their own picture, and you not alone... No makey anymore big deal, just do your best to smile, and pose.. and whatever it turns out like, that's it... it's no different than how you looked to the others before takey..

You think you sound bad because your being critical on yourself.. If you let somebody else hear they'll tell u, u sound fine.. Or u probably sound bad because your focused on how you sound with the camera on..So just play like the cam's not on.. Just do that, record yourself, but when you do it act like camera's not there. Focus on playing and not the recording..

Ask somebody else to film you. You will perform for them, rather than for the camera, and I bet you look better.

Also, I know this sounds silly, but practice in front of the mirror until you get it right. I HATE the look of myself in photos and always delete them but my sister always look FANTASTIC. When I mentioned it, she told me she practises this way! Although It's vain, I can see that she has a point. As soon as someone points a camera at her, she lowers her head, raises her eyes, turns slightly sideways and gives a little half smile. Amazing! I laugh at her but she looks FAB in photos!

you know what its like when you hear yourself speak on a recording.. it never sounds like how you think you sound!!

The way to do it is just send off the cd without playing it back to yourself.. you will always be your worst critic.. let someone else decide!
