It's so hard, and even though my dad is my teacher, I still have a D. It doesn't really help that he's tougher on me because he doesn't want people to think that he's playing favorites. I do all my homework, but it's only worth 10% of our grade. I pay attention in class and I ask my dad for help at home, but I just don't get it. I asked him what I could do to improve my grade, and he said to do better on tests, but the tests are just so hard. What else can I do?

Do harder problem from the book?
First you're taking the slope of each and every project Slope formula is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) one 0 one) 8-(2)/(-3+4)= 10 for the slope 102) (2-5)/(-8-a million)=a million/3 for the slope when you detect the slope, then you definately plug in between the pair of element into the equation y=mx+b (that's not significant which element you employ, yet to maintain it undemanding i will apply the 1st factors) one 0 one) y=mx+b -2=(-4)(10)+b -2=-40+b b=38 y=10x+38 102) y=mx+b 5=(a million)(a million/3)+b 5=(a million/3) b=(14/3) y=(a million/3)x+(14/3) wish this enables
You can get together with other people in your class who you know are doing well and study with them. Tutorials always helped me in precal and calc. Precal is tough to understand so you should find all the hints and tricks to learning trig identities and the unit circle
the only way is to do more problems than you have in your regular homework. Some people just don't get it as easily as others(like me). Practice, practice, practice...
hold a study session with your friends... its less boring and they can help you through a students point of view and not a teachers
