Please don't answer things like evolution or the Bible. Be specific and also mention what religion you are or whatever.
For example: we came from monkeys or God created us etc.
This is kind of like a poll/survey I guess. I'm just curious to see how different religions/people believe we came into existence.
Update:You don't have to give each other thumbs up or thumbs down. This is not about whose wrong or right. This is about learning about other people's views or religion. (which is why I ask this question)
Thanks to those who are specific and state their religion.

I believe the universe was created by God as evidenced by the Law of Causality and life was created by God as evidenced by the Law of Biogenesis. Christian
In the beginning was only Universal God Unmanifest which then decided to create the Universes through Universal God Manifest. Universal God created mankind - the only creature to have awareness and ability to realize its Oneness with its Source, with God.
The word "Adam" comes from "Adama" which means First Soul in ancient religions. Adama is Soul which is of the same substance as Universal Spirit. But then Adama ate from the tree of ignorance and wrapped the sheath of ignorance around it and forgot that it was of the same substance as God the Creator.
God created Evolution. God commanded the Universes to Evolve. God gave men and women Free Choice. The goal is to realize who we really are, and return Home to Universal God which we are from.
an limitless series? Huh? What does this propose? AAn countless series like the Taylor series for approximating e to the x? i think of each and every of the countless varieties of existence got here into existence via evolution. the warmth and stress of comets hitting the Earth can create amino acids, phospholipids in water automagically style into around membranes, and DNA, in a temperature selection like discovered in the Day/night cycle will unzip and are available back including holes lacking on one in all the two strands. unfastened nitrogenous bases will automagically fill in the blanks. each and every person of those has been shown in the lab. the belief of evolution is a thought. this means that that is supported via a extensive volume of evidence. thought does not propose "wager," it incredibly is the ordinary utilization. A thought is a equipment of thoughts meant to describe something. they are in line with primary concepts self reliant of the element to be defined. I did propose to assert "automagically." It means without delay, even though if that is lots extra exciting to assert.
All Roman Catholics believe that we evolved from Adam and Eve, our first parents. Modern scientist have studied the DNA of mankind and have determined that all of mankind did evolve from a single set of parents, we call them Adam and Eve.
You asked me my theory; I think God reached down and selected an animal such as the Neanderthal man and woman,
gave them the gift of speech and a new body, intellect, reasoning powers, the things we have now.
They had children and inter-married and built a tribe and community and expanded to where we are now!
Many different ways, but God created the whole lot........
For example, really evolution happened on earth, but maybe many of us not originated from the evolution, just sometimes started to existing on the earth.........

Just like the others.....evolution with natural selection as the driving force. It's not really a belief anymore. Evolution is open to about as much doubt as gravity.
Does it really matter how we came into existence? The question of how we can improve upon our present state is more important.
We didn't come from monkeys. We are apes, and like the rest of the modern apes we share a common ancestor. We are products of a natural biological process called Evolution.
What happened was: There was this explosion, right? And then, billions of years go by, and life formed cuz that how billions of years works. And then, more billions of years go by and there was this primitive monkey, okay? And more billions of years go by and here we are.
Anyone with any sense can see this is the most logical, reasonable, intelligent position to hold. I mean, billions and billions of years, c'mon! In that amount of time, anything can happen...It's just so obvious! It's just so...logical! xD

I know that you asked for us to "be specific", but you also said not to answer "the Bible". I cannot be more specific than to cut and paste Genesis into my answer..... but instead I'll leave it to you to read.
