You can delete your own answer by clicking the "Delete" hyperlink to the bottom right of your answer. Only YOU can see the Hyperlinks on Your answer. Hopefully that answers your question, because deliberately trying to get some else's answer removed may backfire. You' lose the two points you got for answering the question if you delete it. You will be asked to confirm that this really is what you want to do. Click the Yes button to confirm. If you EDIT your answer instead of deleting it you will not lose the two points.
If the question is open, you can delete it through the edit function (little pencil icon next to the question when you open it). If in voting or resolved, the question belongs to Yahoo and not you. Therefore you can not delete them.
You sometimes can get the team to delete one, maybe two if you ask very nicely, with pretty please, and give a good reason, such as you put your phone number in it. But it may take a while and they will not always do it. Write them at
