How do you email a professor/boss?
I'm so nervous and I've been putting it off but, even though I'm hired, he was very casual about when to start and end (in terms of the summer) and what time to get there everyday and leave.
I don't know how to ask this without seeming ungrateful/rude?

Do not email him. Personal visit best. If cannot be arranged call him and advise that you wanted to review info to be sure and remember to advise him how grateful you are.
