I love learning but I'm not passionate about any one subject.
I am still a freshmen in college but I have absolutely no direction whatsoever...
Update:Oh, and those career books/ tests don't really help.

It's a hard decision -I agree- and I only just made my decision (and I might still change my mind).
I think it's important to imagine the type of job you would like to have when you have graduated (I don't mean trying to pick a career or anything and not your dream career). Just imagine the types of jobs you could POSSIBLY do and then think of some majors that might help you to achieve that. And then think of a major that could lead into a few of these careers.
For example:
If you would like to be a journalist, a tv presenter, a public relations manager or a movie producer, you might consider studying media or communications.
Have a look at online job advertisements for different types of jobs and look at the things they expect entry level workers to have.
I really do think it's important to study what you feel good at or interested in and not worry too much about career paths. When you decide on a career path in the future, you can gain experience that shows you are interested in working in the field and it's most likely your major will complement this in some way even if they aren't directly related.
I have a friend doing biomedical science/ journalism. She's mainly interested in being a science researcher but thinks journalism helps with her writing skills and is a backup career.
Hope this helps and good luck!
