How much does a car air compressor cost?
I have a 2005 Mazda 3s and need a new compressor. The mechanic said he can't find an aftermarket one so he has to get it from Mazda. The total is going to be $1,400 with labor. That sounds extremely expensive!

Tell him to try auto zone just got a replacement compressor for a 04 which is the same compressor for under 700 most shops don't like customers to find parts prices so the can mark them up that's why i said 700 its actually less but I have overhead
