How to text via email?
I lost my phone, and have reason to believe that a person picked it up, however I cant text him because he has my phone.
How do I text via email, does gmail have an addon setting or do I just send it to a random phone company?

Google voice will allow you to text.
you can text from aim instant messenger, aim.com if you have a screen name add the number to your buddy list if you dont have a screen name you can make one at aim.com
