Hello there, I am 22 years old, finishing my computer games design studies and I would like to make a team of developers and sell computer games or give them for free. I am really confused about the copyrights, trademarks and the registered licensing stuff. How can I make sure that nobody can take my studio's name and also pc game that I develop. Lets say I have the names ready and the game is ready as well, what is required to protect my team's name so that there won't be any legal issues.
Is there any kind of info online? Do I need to check about the town/city I live in right now? I live currently in the UK.
Thanks for your time. I really need an answer cause this has frustrated me for very long and I don't want other to suddenly, "steal" my names. I know I can't protect an idea, but at least keep this part safe :)

You need to be extremely careful about the contracts you use if you hire independent programmers, or if you are "partners" with anyone in a "joint venture". You could inadvertently screw up your copyright ownership of programs developed by people who are not technically your employees.
information superhighway progression is plenty greater trouble-free. yet once you're making the information superhighway website that is troublesome to submit it. game progression is greater eye-catching and harder and it could on occasion disappoint you. yet once you advance into expert that is relaxing. greater effective to initiate from what you like. As information superhighway progression is greater trouble-free you could initiate it later and learn it rapid. yet initiate game progression from now to be a expert 2 years later. that is greater effective to initiate with a effective language no longer an basic one reason the effort-free one will disappoint you after some time because of fact you could no longer make a complicated element in it. i began with flash as2 now i'm somewhat upset. I advise beginning with c++ or java.
