I AM UNABLE TO INSERT CONTACT INTO A NEW EMAIL MESSAGE. NOTHING COMES UP IN THE ADDRESS BAR. I WANT TO REVERT TO OLD YAHOO MAIL AS I CANNOT RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM?
I have two solutions for you---one of which I hope will help.
1.)---Try this to insert one OR multiple addresses.
Click on Forward or Compose.
Then click directly on the word TO----(or CC or BCC--whichever line you want the addresses entered on), and your mailing list opens.
Click on ONE contact FIRST-----and only THEN press and hold down the "ctrl" key while clicking on the rest you want to send to. Then click OK and those names will be inserted on the address line for you.
IN other words----whichever address line you FIRST click on to open your mailing list ----is the line that the contacts will be entered on.

2.)---Classic is the only "old version" you can go back to. Here's how:
With Classic you will STILL get the "Prompts" to upgrade (for a while)---but just keep clicking "No Thanks" OR "I want to stay on Classic" (teeny writing bottom of page).
Eventually the prompts will stop (per Yahoo).
**************************************…
Try this bit of trickery to (quickly and permanently) get back to Classic.
Just lower the page "resolution" to the point where it won't support the Beta version.
Go to>>your desktop and right click on it>>click on "properties">>click the "settings" tab>>and lower the resolutions>>click OK (and/or "apply").
You "may" then be required to restart your computer.
THEN-----Once you've gone back to your mail page ---you will be told that your resolution is too low and asked if you want to switch to Classic as the "default" or "permanently"---(NOT the "one time only").
AFTER changing your mail page back to Classic---- GO BACK and return the page resolution to normal, (so things will continue to work smoothly.
