Is ASG a good guitar brand?
I am planning to order my own custom ASG. I heard they make guitars for various metalcore and heavy metal bands and that's a good sign. But is the brand of good quality? Does the guitar have a rich tone and is it worth the money? $549?

549 isn't that much for a good guitar. From what I've seen, they seem to be of good quality for the money. Not the best in the world, okay, but for what you pay, perfectly good for what they're made to do.
ASG is an exceptional brand for the money.
No other 'custom' manufacturer is quite as open with their work
while they keep their prices far below most others.
I've only played 1 .... and it was definitely more than good enough.
