Hey people! I'm looking for a good, big city for college! Is Dallas a city that you would consider to be friendly, progressive, and open-minded? Is it good for feminists, vegans and queer people? Thanks! :)

Austin, Texas is widely considered the most "progressive" or liberal city in Texas.
But Dallas isn't bad. Houston isn't bad either. Stay away from small Texas towns, especially in East Texas, if you want progressive.
Yes. I live 30 minutes from Dallas. It's a good place to be but all good things come with the bad. Denton is smaller than Dallas but friendlier and has 2 major colleges UNT and TWU.
Radio Active is right, Austin is your best bet, the live music capital of the world, and everything you're looking for, and then some.
You.want friendly and progressive? Lol Dallas is the wrong place for you.
Dont move here, you'll hate it
