Is it possible to transfer from a UC into a community college?
I'm attending a UC but I honestly feel I am not going to make..I want to drop out. But I was wondering if there is any way I can transfer from the UC into a community college.
No problem. All that you do is apply to the CC as a transfer student and also make sure that you withdraw in good standing from the UC.
An alternative is to take a "leave of absence" from the UC. That way you don't lose your spot and can return if you have a change of heart. Plenty of people take CC courses while in leave, or during summer vacations from the 4-year school.
FWIW - We had a grad student a few years ago whose mom got sick so she took off a year from a very big-name school, completed her AA at the local CC while on leave, and then returned and completed her Bachelors.
FWIW 2 - I also know a few students who just didn't like the pressures and goals of the university. They all withdrew in good standing and entered vocational programs at local CCs and did quite well. It is not a failure, but rather an adult realization of themselves and their personalities.
sure, you are able to pass from UC Berkeley to Harvard. the only element is that Harvard is going to choose all your transcripts, which consists of your SAT/ACT score. in case you do not choose to try this, you may get a BS or MS from Berkeley, then a PhD from Harvard such as you mentioned. the two way might artwork, it somewhat is as much as you. some PhD courses enable you to basically have a BS. keep in mind although, suitable PhD courses have an popularity cost of roughly 3%.
