Nope, nothing's wrong with your dog. I had a golden retriever until Christmas of 2005 when sadly he passed away due to a tumor. He hated baths and hoses, pretty much anything to due with water. I only saw him go into water once willingly and it was just because we were filling up our pool and he walked into it when the sides weren't all the way up because my family was all inside it. Other than that he never went in unless told to (for baths). Whenever someone would turn the hose on, he'd run to one of the doors on our house and jump and bark until someone let him inside. My grandparents' dog (a medium sized mixed breed) didn't like water either, but not nearly as bad as my dog Dakota did. Some dogs just don't like water.
Nope, nothing wrong there. I've got 4 dogs. 1 likes the water when I spray her with the hose outside. But the other 3 run like cowards to the door or behind something to hide :)
I had a Chow that hated water. He always walked around puddles and absolutely refused to come out of the garage when it was raining. I have heard of it in other dogs as well, so I wouldn't think it would be anything to worry about.
my dog absolutely hates water- even when i fill up her water bowl she runs- When i adopted her from the humane society, they said she had been left out in the rain tied to a trailor, for a couple days, so therefor she is afraid of water. It's kind of sad.
My dogs only like the water if they are in control. They hate baths, but will swim in the little doggie pool I got them. I wouldn't worry about it. If you would like her to like the water, just try baby steps. Get a doggie pool and just leave water in it. She might supprise you and go in by herself.
She's normal. It's called Hydrophobia and it's acutally quit common in animals. Usually it is because they had a bad experience with it at one time. You could work with her on it if you wanted to but it's really not a big deal. Good luck

Not uncommon. I have a 2yr old cocker spaniel, a breed well known for their swimming, and cant get him in the water without an act of congress.
Lots of dogs avoid water.
Not all dogs like water and I think some of that comes from infancy, some sort of inherited fear. Dont worry your dog is OK.
