Terraria is a GREAT game! There is so much to do in it. I've been playing for about a year now and I have the same character I had from the beginning. I almost have everything (as in, the best items to get)
I think you should definitely buy the 4 pack and sell the last copy to another friend. 'Tis what I did. Gave the 3 copies to my friends for $10 ea. So I made $10! Yaaaaay!
You can host your own server by going to this folder:
Once there you can open the file called TerrariaServer. Follow the instructions and it shall generate a server. You would then have to find out your IP address by Google-ing "What's my IP". I haven't tried it yet because I opened my router's ports and can host a server without that, but if that doesn't work, I could host a server for you and your friends... as long as you go to my YouTube pages :)
I have a gaming channel, NastyWalkThroughs, which will soon be switched over to SwanGames, and a video blogging channel, SwanVlogs.
I've been meaning to host an open server for a while, I just need the loyal fans :/
It's honestly really fun. I can't deny that, I play on a server with 3 other friends and we got to the endgame gear, but that took a while. If you have any interest in building, exploring, or just getting awesome weapons and armor, you should get Terraria.
it was amazing and took me 72 hours to complete and find everything, one of my favorites. so yes, its amazing, like 2D minecraft that has more in depth combat and many more items, enemies, and has boss fights, but you'll need to look up a lot of things online.
