im on depo and taking antibiotics lately ive been using the pulling out method is ther a chance i can be preg? does anybody know anyone that this happend to them? lol
Any antibiotics would render any form of hormone induced birth control ineffective.
I would suggest if you don't want another pregnancy right now, that you use additional methods to prevent it (i.e. condom or abstinence). It's only for a short amount of time anyways...although, with antibiotics you usually take it for 3 or 5 days then it remains in your system for another 3 or 5 days.
Depending on how many days you take it, double that, then you should be fine after that.....pulling out is not a good method of contraception as pre c u m has sperm in it.
Antibiotics can mess with the effectiveness of the birth control and the pull out method so doesn't work. that is how i ended up pregnant with my second. so it would probably be a better idea to use condoms or just not do anything.
Antibiotics counteract with birth control pills, im guessing that you knew that and that is why you were using the pull out method. All in all, the antibiotics would make you fall more likely into conceiving.
I heard the pill doesnt work if you are taking certain types of antibiotics, -Via Dr. Oz and the internet.... also.. when i guy has an erection, he ejaculates something called "pre-***" which can contain sperm if he has ejaculated within the last 7 days.. so .. the "pulling out" method.. isnt really a form of anti-pregnancy.. :( You should take a test,

Don't know why you are laughing, because it isn't a laughing matter.
I have never heard of anyone becoming pregnant while taking Depo. Its a pretty good birth control method.
I'm not saying that there is no chance that pregnancy won't happen, but its very very very slim.
If you have a period, wait for your cycle. If you don't have a period wait four weeks from the day that you had sex and take a test.
