I do not know about my computer but for over 30 years I know they have a file on me along with my fingerprints and information about my family. This was necessary for a security clearance. Over the following 10 years I had worked with/for most of the alphabet and there are times that when I have contact with certain persons or write about certain topics my internet connection suddenly gets interrupted. I have also picked up certain telltale signs that my phone gets monitored when I make calls to friends that also have files. One of these friends used to get paranoid because once when I was back home on vacation after officially leaving service he said he had been under observation since I landed in town. It was funny because we met at a cafe and talked for a while and we both noticed that one car parked in the lot of the store next to the parking lot where we were. We both pay attention and noted the plate number. After an hour and a half we went down the road a couple miles to a Denny's that was set back from other places and not as visible from outside. The same car (with plate #) pulled into the lot a minute later. He asked me what I was really doing in town and I told him just visiting friends and family before heading back to Europe. I always make it a point to use key words when we talk that would make an analyst who is not familiar with my file refresh their cryptography training. One told me once that the job is boring so I am just trying to help break the boredom. There has been a couple times when I did this that my phone lines were interrupted for a few hours but I guess fair is fair, I deserved it. I do think I have earned that I should be trusted and they know if I wanted to I could bypass the system. I called my ex (then wife) one morning at her job and then several hours and she asked what I was doing in England, she had noticed earlier my call had come from Frankfurt but had not thought anything about it because I am there on occasion. I laughed and told her earlier I was on a military installation in Mannheim and at that time I was calling from Ramstein Air Base, I was just using a switching system that bounced my call location which was fairly standard for me.
As I stated I am officially out of the system but it would not surprise me if at any time I am monitored.
