Lexmark 2600 Series Printer Cartridge Problem?
I've been getting an error on my Lexmark printer and I can't seem to fix it. It keeps blinking 1-E-C and my computer says that one of the cartridges is not installed properly; both of them are. I cleaned off each cartridge and printer head with alcohol, and rebooted the printer but I'm still getting the error. Any help would be great.

As you have tried cleaning the cartridge itself I would recommend giving the corresponding contacts on the inside of the the printer a quick clean also. If this fails to help then it would appear there is a genuine problem with the colour cartridge. In which case I would recommend contacting whoever it was purchased from to obtain a replacement.
