Okay so I missed the other day of school and thought I understood what we were doing, but now I don't! Can someone please walk me step by step with instructions on how to solve this? Equation: ln ( 4x-7) = ln(x=11)

e^ln ( 4x-7) = e^ln(x+11) => 4x-7 = x + 11 and you can finish it.
It's simple;
They're both natural logs, right? That means whatever's INSIDE the parenthesis will be the same
4x - 7 = x + 11
it's completely okay to do this. After that it's a simple algebraic problem. :)
Hope that helped!
