I have a 97 chrysler Sebring LX coupe, i bought 2-3 years ago it was garage maintained had only 55k miles then and 70k now. 4 months ago one night my battery went dead i thought and got a jumpped it worked right off the bag prior to that when i turned the key absolutely nothing happened. Long-story short I turned the engine off and when i came out 30 mins later it was dead the tow truck i called had arrived and it would not charge up via a jump, so i had to buy a new battery which worked like a charm. Recently within the last month the dummy light came on (the battery light). However it has a slight flicker to it, and soon after that my stereo began starting and stopping ie on turning off then immediately back on. It has progress to a point that whenever i even tap the brake the stereo does this now, instead of the random blip.
I have changed the alternator for a brand new one, and i still have the newish battery in it.
I don't know what it could be except for a wiring problem, which is out of my league if that is the case.
Side:note when i installed the CD player i had to use an adaptor to make it work.

Bad belt or bad battery connections.
Well Make sure there are no exposed wires anywhere this can cause things to go haywire if they ground out. Maybe just pay the diagnosis guy the $60.00 or whatever it is he can tell what it is and then you just fix it your self that's what i usually do this way you won't keep replacing unnecessary parts that gets to be ridiculous!
check all connections if you see a light green or white crust like formatoin then you need to start by cleaning that with a wire brush. you may have to disconnect it to clean it well, then check that everything is tight if so might want to try replacing the generator or altinator as some call it
it sounds like a wiring problem, im not sure where it would be exactly though
