I'm planning to go to Niagara Falls in about 1 week. Is there any attractions or exiting events going on? Please make sure it's something that the whole family can enjoy! Thank-you!
Hey, Obviously when you go to Niagara Falls you have to see the falls first! (its cool because at night they have lights that light up the falls different colors)
Also, go to the main strip of Niagara. I forget the name of the streets at the moment, but it is impossible to miss, its right near the falls :) They have places like wax museums of rock stars and celebs, a Ripleys believe it or not building thats just so cool inside, chocolate shops and great resturaunts. There are also many gift shops with great stuff in them!
Also check out Niagara on the Lake, many pretty stores and garderns.
I used to live up there. Its a beautiful place to visit. Don't forget to visit the new falls view casino as well as wineries around the Niagara falls. Also the Clifton hill is the best place to do shopping and for attraction like Ripley's, WWF museum also the rain forest cafe is good too. Oops i forget about the botanical garden make sure to visit there too. and also the fireworks at night on Niagara falls is wonderful too.
As per as events goes i don't have much idea but i came across the website of city of Niagara falls and mentioned it below.
No.. I'm sorry there isn't any attractions or exiting events going on there in a week but ... i would suggest the first day u get there look around drive around (in Canada) then buy some things then go to Niagara Falls it self the second day then leave and go bac home .. (but ride the boat too cuz its soo much funnnn!!!!!!!)
In the States, elevator to bottom of the falls, and walk around down there on wooden walkways; guided tour. Also Maid of the Mist Boat rides to the bottom of the Falls. Lots of picture opportunities. Observation tower.

Maid of the Mist - takes you very, very, very close to the Falls. Well worth the price of admission
That's it. There's absolutely nothing else to do at Niagara Falls. Nothing. I seriously mean ... nothing.

man, that itself is the main attraction. its better to see it from both the sides to 've maximum enjoyment
