I just put a o2 sensor in my 90 omni. It runs fair now but not great but a lot better. I'm going to put a air filter and the rortor it feels like it is not going in to 1st. Will it take sometime to set the o2?

i would check your injectors, does the car put out black smoke from tailpipe while its running, if so your injectors are clogging up, try running some injector cleaner thru the fuel system. there is no reset for the o2 sensor. try disconnecting the negative battery cable for about a minute, this will reset your computer and erase the trouble code in the computer
An O2 sensor gives the on board computer feedback as to the fuel condition (I.E. too rich or too lean) and control the engines fuel ratio this way. If you had a bad O2 sensor for some length of time your spark plugs may very well be fouled out to some degree. If it were my car i would take it out on the highway and step on it hard on and off for a few miles and clean the plugs up that way or just install new plugs. The spark plugs are right on the front of the engine and don,t get any easier to get at. Good luck.
