No, you shouldn't! Especially since you are 35 weeks along. Just don't burn them anymore- not a big deal.......
When I was pregnant with my first, I was taking a design class where I constantly had to use rubber cement. Anyway, when I was about 8 months pregnant, I had a glass of water and then the rubber cement bottle next to it, and I accidentally put the rubber cement brush in my water! Then, I drank it! How? I don't know! (Maybe I was around too much rubber cement! J/K) But, then I freaked out and read the label that said pregnant people should avoid using it. I had been using it for 3 months! And, everything is fine- my son is really healthy, normal, and smart. You'll be fine!
Calm down! If you're already 35 weeks, then your baby is already fully developed and he/she is just gaining weight at this point. I think most birth defects occur when the fetus is just developing. Obviously the insense released bad chemicals, so I would get as much fresh air as you can and try to completely air out your room. Insense sometimes leaves a film residue on walls and furniture, so I would have someone completely wash down everything in your room. Call the doctor in the morning and see what they say. I'm sure they'll say everything will be fine. Good luck and try not to stress out...that will be worse for the baby than the insense!
Now I use insense all the time and Ive never heard that to be true. But if it says it on the package im sure they wouldnt lie. My cure is as follows. If you want your room to smell good put the insense in your room and leave until it gets done burning. The problem with insense is probably the smoke it gives off. I would keep my distance from it. Also ask your doctor the prospective harms that will come from it and weigh your options...good luck
Don't stress it.. just don't use them anymore.. I'm pretty sure that is just a general warning and you'd probably have to sit around in the fumes all day for weeks on end for it to have any effect.. just stay clear of products like that from now on.
Stop freaking out. You're fine. Just dont use them anymore. You're too far along to start developing birth defects now.
Most teratogens (harmful substances to unborn children) will only affect your baby within the first trimester. At this point your baby has only to grow some fat, finish some organs, and practice getting their limbs to move at the will of their brain. I think you'll be okay, but if you want to be sure, you can have it checked out by your doc.
no, i think its too late to worry about birth defects in your baby. He/she is already pretty developed. If you are worried though, just take the wrapper it came in, to your next check up, and ask your doctor about it. Don't burn any more of it if you are not sure.
it says that on cigarettes too. Imagine you had smoked two cigarettes . . the chancesof anything actually happening are pretty slim but they have to put it on the packet to cover themselves for the 1 in a million person it happens to.
Don't panic - just let your doctor know next visit. This is only a recent finding - people have been burning incense for centuries.
I don't think you should be worried, just don't burn anymore. Google the name of the chemical.
