P plates early sydney australia?
Is there a possible way to get p plates early in sydney? i live in sydney, i was wondering if theres any way i can get my red p plates early? could i possibly go to canberra and do the test because i know u only have to be 16 and 9 months to get them there while you have to be 17 here. at the moment i am 16 and 9 months. thanks

Actually, the age for P-plates in the ACT is also 17. And if you are not a resident of the ACT you can't just up and come get your P-plates. We have different requirements.

What is your Reason for wanting to get them early? Are your parents moving overseas in the next two months and your new guardian cannot drive and you live in a farm with a 10 km driveway? Those are the types of reasons that may give you an exemption.....but simply wanting to do this early because it's more convienient....sorry no exceptions
Nope. There's no possible way. Your licence must be issued by your home state. If you don't live in Canberra, you simply can't get your p plates early.
